Rock L. Butler Middle School Chromebook Pickup

Attention parents and guardians of Rock L. Butler Middle School Students.

Chromebooks will be distributed tomorrow (Tuesday, 4/7) at the Middle School for students that do not currently have access to a device at home. Again, please do not pick up your child’s Chromebook unless it is necessary for them to be able to access and complete the optional activities teachers are currently posting.

Please arrive during the designated time for your child’s grade. The times are as follows:

  • 5th grade – 8:00 to 9:30
  • 6th grade – 9:30 to 11:00
  • 7th grade – 11:30 to 1:00
  • 8th grade -  1:00 to 2:30

If you have children in multiple grades, we will accommodate you by giving you multiple laptops at the same time.

When you arrive at the middle school please drive to the backdoor. Please note that you will not be required or allowed to get out of your vehicle. Additionally, anyone handling your child’s Chromebook will be wearing appropriate protective gear.

For the safety of everyone involved, this will be the only day and time for Chromebook pickup.

The Wellsboro Area School District will be providing free grab and go lunches for any school district students from noon to 2pm beginning Monday. Lunches may be picked up at the Wellsboro Fire Hall Annex, 21 East Avenue in Wellsboro. Students will be offered two days’ worth of lunches. Lunches will be available for pick up this week Monday through Friday and the week of March 23rd on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Additional days will be added based on need. Students do not need their lunch number to participate. Students do not need to be with the parents when the lunches are picked up and friends, neighbors, and family are welcome to pick up lunches with a note from the parent. Edit: We added the clarification that students can get two days of lunches each time they come. We did not intend they can only get two lunches over the two weeks.
